Workshops

Workshops are led by the teacher/designer and usually occur over a period of time. All activity is accessed through dedicated Groups.io groups.

In additional to a teaching guide, kits may be required, optional or not available. Supplemental instructions are posted periodically, and the instructor is available by email for questions or discussion. These workshops vary in difficulty and technique and offer yet another way for stitchers to learn something new.

Online Lectures using Zoom

CyberPointers is offering its first ever lecture using the Zoom platform. These will generally not be recorded, so please only sign up if you will be able to attend. In addition, because of Zoom account limitations, the lectures will be limited to 100 participants. The registration fee will help defray the cost of the Zoom platform, and will be used if we need to upgrade to handle the lectures in the future.

Good, Better, Best: Keys to Valuing Needlework, by Laurie Kelly. Lecture on Saturday, April 6 at 2 PM Eastern (1 PM Central, 12 PM Mountain, 11 AM Pacific). Lecture will not be recorded.

ANG Correspondence Courses

CyberPointers offers correspondence courses if interest is shown by the membership. The Chapter facilitates a group registration, pays the group fee and supports the offering by creating a dedicated groups.io group for discussion, questions, and photos by the members. As is normal with ANG correspondence courses, the teacher is not involved with the group, and there are no extra lessons, tips or techniques provided. The teacher is welcome to become involved, but every correspondence course is designed to be self taught. Since individuals may register for Correspondence Courses, Cyberpointers is not offering any at this time.
