Basic Intermediate

Technique: shading using the Burden and Brick Stitches. We are going to be concerned primarily with the following shading techniques when stitching this design:

1. Using stitches that carry the color into the next stitch
2. Mixing colors in needle
3. Turning stitches in different directions
4. Choice of stitches
