Place a Dahlia on a glass background. Carol Algie Higginbotham used that, interpreted it, and you have a design to grace a tote bag, a pillow or frame as a picture. The piece is worked on #18 white mono canvas and set on a background of white stitches to simulate stained glass. The “glass” pieces are outlined with gold metallic thread. This 12” x 12” canvas piece lets the Intermediate student shade numerous canvas stitches. The flower will be worked in 4 values of a color (your choice), three greens and 2 yellows for the center, all available in the optional complete kit.
