Garden Path – Sue Reed
Description: Zigzag paths create a garden of patterns and colors.
The center area has Crescent flowers sitting along a burst of color created by color matching hand-dyed silk in Rhodes and Fleur-de-lis Crescents. A two-color padded Waffle surrounded by Satin Stitches adds a strong border pattern to the garden path. The same pattern changes in appearance when grouped together in the corners. A stained-glass square of Mosaic stitches ties in all the colors. Waffle stitches connect the boards at midpoint and ground the garden and the flower boxes of Lazy Daisies.
