Description: A mermaid disappears into clear tropical water, with just a flash of tail to reveal her story. The Mermaid’s Tail features levels of water painted on canvas, defined with several small stitches with Painter’s Threads. Instruction emphasizes how to “read” a diagram to determine the best stitching path, and how to compensate stitches. Threads used are Painter’s Threads overdyed cotton floss, fine metallic braid, gimp, #8 pearl cotton and single-loop rayon, with cup and seashell sequins.
