A…Skew – Presented by Cathe McEnerney

A…Skew

Designer:  Susan Hoekstra
Source: ANG Chapter Project Book

Description
This piece is stitched in a not-quite-upright direction. There are lots of angles and diagonals. After completing this piece, the stitcher will be well versed in stitching on the diagonal and understanding compensation. The attachment of the wool pumpkin in the middle also adds a level of work to be understood. The stitcher will also need to draw the canvas from a template. Counting and double counting will be the manner in which this is achieved!
